Our Teachers

Horizons National Chicago head teachers are paid professionals with years of teaching experience under their belts, all bringing a special level of expertise to the classroom. The additions of Assistant Teachers and volunteers help Horizons maintain a 5:1 student-to-faculty ratio, allowing for deeper connection with students and the ability to address the individual needs of each child. Our student-centered approach to project-based learning brings our teachers back year after year to explore the creativity and possibility of designing a curriculum specifically for their students’ needs.
